Tour Plan

Upon your arrival at the Indore airport / railway station our driver will pick you up and you will be driven to Maheshwar. Once you arrive you will check-in at your hotel and take rest. Later you will be taken to visit the grand Ahilya Fort which is the former royal residence of the Holkar queen known as Ahilyabai Holkar. After that you will be taken to explore the palace complex, temples and the riverside ghats. You also get to take a peaceful boat ride on the Narmada and soak in the spiritual aura. Following that you will be taken to visit the local handloom weaving centers,where the famous Maheshwari saris are crafted. After that you will be driven back to your hotel for the overnight stay.

After a healthy breakfast you will check-out from your hotel and you will head towards Mandu. Once you reach your exploration will begin with a visit Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace) which appears to float between two lakes and also visit the Hindola Mahal which is known for its sloping walls. After that you will continue to Baz Bahadur’s Palace and Roopmati’s Pavilion, which narrate the story of Mandu’s royal lovers. Enjoy panoramic views of the Nimar plains and the Narmada valley. After sightseeing, you will be driven back to Indore (approx. 95 km / 2.5 hrs) where you’ll be dropped at your preferred location.
